ZOLEDRON Description: Potent Third-Generation Bisphosphonate for Regulating Osteoarticular Metabolism. Injectable Indications: Adjuvant and supportive therapy in the specific treatment of osteoarticular conditions associated with bone metabolism dysfunction, such as osteoarthritis and arthritis in general, bone resorption, and navicular syndrome of less than 6 months’ duration.Osteochondral lesions. Transverse spondylosis. Fractures.Accelerated bone maturation. Osteitis of the third phalanx. Sesamoiditis. Exercise intolerance due to osteoarticular immaturity. Bone weakness syndrome. Osteochondritis dissecans (OCD). Epiphysitis Dosage: Preventive treatment: Horses up to 1 year old: 1/2 bottle; Horses 1–2 years old: 1 bottle; Horses over 2 years old: 1 bottle, which may be repeated every 30 days . Curative treatment:1–4 doses may be administered at intervals of 15–30 days between doses, depending on the severity of the case or the veterinarian’s professional judgment.
