Analgesic, antipyretic, non-corticosteroid anti-inflammatory. Composition Component Amount Gentamicin sulfate (equivalent to gentamicin base) 4 g. Excipients q.s. to 100 mL. Indications Analgesic, antipyretic, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders in sport horses. Treatment of choice for acute laminitis. Arthritis, spondylitis, tendinitis, synovitis, bursitis, rheumatism. Antipyretic for viral diseases. Route of Administration Slow intravenous or intramuscular injection, depending on the animal. Dosage Unless otherwise prescribed by a veterinarian, the recommended dosage is: 10 to 20 ml per day for 5 consecutive days, administered by slow intravenous injection. Precautions and Contraindications Do not administer to animals allergic to the active ingredient. Do not use in combination with warfarin or sulfonamides. Do not use when gastrointestinal ulcers, coagulation disorders, or cardiac, renal, or hepatic dysfunction are suspected, or when thyroid function is impaired. In inflammatory conditions associated with infections, additional chemotherapy is required. The response to treatment with NORMALIZADOR is generally rapid; If no significant improvement is observed within 5 days, the diagnosis and treatment should be reevaluated.
