Usage Indications
Hepatofield (Oral liver protectant) Oral liver detoxifier Benefits: SPCs are animals exposed to high levels of stress due to the demanding training they undergo, due to their near-constant confinement and the various treatments they receive, which in many cases results in a cholestatic liver disorder caused by obstructions in bile drainage, intestinal congestion and inflammation, colic, and exogenous or endogenous intoxication. Cholestasis syndrome manifests in sport horses through symptoms such as anorexia, weight loss, skin disorders, constipation, halitosis, intestinal putrefaction, cecocolic tympanism, and flatulence, which, if not properly treated, lead to asthenia that causes a significant decline in the athlete’s performance. In numerous trials conducted with SPC horses, HEPATOFIELD has demonstrated high efficacy in resolving cholestasis problems in 92% of cases, with an immediate and complete clinical remission of symptoms observed within no more than 5 days after treatment began. Indications: Liver failure. Drug intoxication. Loss of appetite. Training. Overtraining. Stimulation of liver function. Target species: sport and working horses not intended for human consumption.
