Glucosamine and glycosaminoglycans are important components of joint cartilage. Horses with cartilage degradation in the hock, pastern, fetlock, and cannon bone that receive glucosamine show significant improvement within two weeks. Glycosan protects and nourishes cartilage-producing cells and provides them with essential components to create new cartilage and connective tissue. Glycosan has beneficial effects on pain and functional impairment. The product is used to improve arthritic joints in horses suffering from arthritis. Animals treated with Glycosan begin to experience pain relief and improved joint mobility within hours; INDICATIONS: Non-infectious arthritis. Hydrarthrosis. Joint anti-inflammatory; DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Adult Horses (500 kg): Administer 20 mL daily by intravenous injection for 5–10 days or as directed by a veterinarian.
