Usage Indications
Description : Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), antipyretic, anti-endotoxic , analgesic, and antispasmodic injection Composition : Flunixin base (as meglumine) 50 mg/mL. Indications : As a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, recommended for cases where treatment with corticosteroids is contraindicated. Cattle: Treatment of acute inflammation associated with respiratory tract diseases (in combination with antibiotic therapy), postpartum paresis, and downer cow syndrome. Anti-endotoxic agent for pneumonia, diarrhea, colic, and mastitis. Horses: Treatment of choice for equine colic (as an intestinal anti-inflammatory and anti-endotoxin agent) . Treatment of acute inflammation in cases of musculoskeletal disorders. Pigs: Adjuvant treatment for metritis–mastitis–agalactia syndrome. In all species: Relief of post-surgical and post-traumatic pain. Withdrawal Period for human consumption of treated animals. Cattle: 7 days before slaughter and 5 days before milking. Swine: 21 days before slaughter. Store the product between 5 and 35°C. Avoid freezing and excessive heat. Contraindications : None. PACKAGING : 50-ml multidose vial. DOSAGE Cattle and Swine: 2 ml per 45 kg body weight, daily for no more than 5 days. Horses: 1 ml per 45 kg body weight; May be repeated in cases of colic after 2 hours or when symptoms reappear. ADMINISTRATION : Intravenous or intramuscular injection
