Usage Indications
Description; : An oral anti-inflammatory medication containing phenylbutazone for horses; Composition; Phenylbutazone: 6 g; Excipients q.s.: 36 g; Action; : Anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and anti-arthritic. It acts against inflammatory processes by inhibiting the release of histamine and the subsequent production of prostaglandins, both of which are triggers of inflammation; Indications; : Acute and chronic inflammatory conditions. Arthritis, myositis, tendinitis, synovitis, joint strains, osteitis, hyperthermia, etc; Warnings; : Do not use in combination with warfarin or sulfonamides. Do not use if a gastrointestinal ulcer, coagulation disorders, or cardiac, renal, or hepatic dysfunction is suspected, or in cases of thyroid disorders or allergy to the drug.
