Equi Bloc; DESCRIPTION; : Injectable analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent containing ammonium chloride and dexamethasone for infiltrations; COMPOSITION; Ammonium chloride: 1.5 g; Dexamethasone 21 phosphate: 0.04 g; 96% ethanol: 7 ml; Phenol: 0.05 g; Distilled water q.s.: 100 ml; ACTION; Relieves pain and reduces inflammation in the affected muscle. Its effect lasts two to three weeks and becomes noticeable within 2 hours of injection; INDICATIONS; Indicated for myositis, muscle spasms, myalgia, etc; It may be used alone or in combination with corticosteroids, antibiotics, local anesthetics, etc; CONTRAINDICATIONS AND WARNINGS; There are no known incompatibilities with concurrent treatments; Do not use on infected tissues or those with acute inflammation. Do not use when the injury to be treated may worsen (acute myositis, recent muscle tears); Since the product will be used in circumstances beyond the manufacturer’s control, the manufacturer is not liable for any consequences arising from its improper use; SIDE; EFFECTS In some cases, itching, sweating, or signs of restlessness may occur. On very rare occasions, after injection, treated animals may experience pain and difficulty walking for 2–3 hours; DOSAGE; Administer exclusively intramuscularly (injections).
