DESCRIPTION : An antiparasitic medication in the form of a palatable gel that is easy to administer, for the treatment of gastrointestinal and external parasitic infections in horses and ponies 4 months of age and older. COMPOSITION Moxidectin: 2.0 g. Praziquantel: 12.5 g. Excipients q.s.: 100 mL. INDICATIONS The product is indicated for the treatment of the following parasites: Large Strongyles: Strongylus vulgaris—(adults and L4/L5 arterial stages); Strongylus edentatus—(adults and tissue stages); Strongylus equinus—(adults); Triodontophorus spp.—(adults); Triodontophorus serratus—(adults) Small Strongyles: Cyathostominae: adults and larvae, including encysted stages of the following species: Cyathostomum spp; Cylicocyclus spp; Gyalocephalus spp; Cylicostephanus spp; Poteriostomum spp; Cylicodontophorus spp; Undifferentiated luminal larvae. Other internal parasites: Parascaris equorum; Oxyuris equi; Trichostrongylus axei - (adults) Strongyloides westeri—(adults); Habronema muscae; Habronema majus—(adults) Abomasal worms: Gasterophilus intestinalis—(L2 and L3); Gasterophilus nasalis—(L2 and L3) Cutaneous habronemiasis: Cutaneous larval stages of nematodes of the Spiruridae family, such as Habronema muscae and Habronema majus. Filariae: Onchocerca cervicalis (microfilariae) Tapeworms: Anoplocephala spp. - (adults) Ticks: Helps control: Amblyomma cajennense and Dermacentor (Anocentor) nitens CONTRAINDICATIONS AND WARNINGS As with all medications, keep out of the reach of children. Store at room temperature between 5 and 30°C. DOSAGE To use the syringe containing the product, slide the graduation ring and adjust it according to the animal’s weight on the scale (each mark corresponds to 25 kg). Remove the cap and insert the syringe through the interdental space until it reaches a point near the base of the tongue. Push the plunger until the ring stops. A single administration of the product at the recommended dose also suppresses the production of strongyle eggs for 84 days. PRESENTATION : Graduated syringes calibrated in 25-kg increments. RESTRICTIONS ON USE : A 28-day interval must elapse between the last treatment and the slaughter of animals intended for human consumption. ADMINISTRATION Oral
