Usage Indications

Cistepan Burnet Prevention and treatment of muscle fatigue For injection Formula: Mercaptamine Hydrochloride (Cysteamine) 3.750 g, Pantothenic Acid 0.550 g, Magnesium Chloride 4.200 g, Magnesium Aspartate 0.150 g, Excipient q.s. to 100 ml. Action: CISTEPAN BURNET exerts its action by facilitating the production of active coenzyme “A” and the diversion of lactic acid into the oxidative cycle, thereby reducing muscle fatigue in sport horses and ketosis in cattle by decreasing the accumulation of lactic acid. Indications: Prevention and treatment of muscle fatigue in sport horses. Antiketogenic agent in cattle. Administration and Dosage: Adult sport horses (weighing between 400 and 500 kg): Severe cases of muscle fatigue: 10 to 20 ml of CISTEPAN BURNET administered by slow intravenous injection, at 12-hour intervals. Repeat until symptoms subside. Preventive dose: 10 to 20 ml administered by slow intravenous injection every 24–48 hours Cattle: Therapeutic dose: Administer 20 mL diluted in 500 mL of 5% glucose solution by slow intravenous injection. Repeat every 12 hours until ruminal motility resumes and ketosis symptoms resolve. Preventive dose: 20 ml administered by slow intravenous injection immediately after calving. Administer to lactating dairy cows or those in very good body condition. Restrictions on use; Contraindications and precautions: None. Packaging: 100-ml bottles. Storage: Between 5°C and 25°C
