Description CICATRINE AM is a keratolytic, antibiotic, antiseptic, anti-myiasis agent, and absorbent. It improves the quality and speed of healing in all types of wounds. Composition Component Amount Oxytetracycline Cl 0.5% w/w Trichlorfon 0.6% w/w Salicylic acid 1.0% w/w. Zinc oxide 10.0% w/w Cornstarch 15.0% w/w Granulated sucrose, 60 mesh, q.s. to 100 g. Indications Treatment of various wounds and other skin lesions such as abrasions, lacerations, tail and ear docking, ulcers, bites, etc., and treatment and prevention of myiasis, as directed by a veterinarian. For cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, dogs, and cats. Route of administration Topical. Dosage Apply a sufficient amount to cover the affected area with a thin layer of powder. May be applied one to three times daily as needed. Precautions and Contraindications Do not treat animals suffering from colic, diarrhea, or constipation. Do not combine with other acetylcholinesterase inhibitors. Handlers should avoid direct contact with the powder.
