BUTORMIN; DESCRIPTION; Injectable opioid analgesic containing butorphanol tartrate; COMPOSITION; Butorphanol tartrate: 10 mg. Excipients q.s.: 1 ml; ACTION; Opioid; Analgesic: A synthetic opioid agonist-antagonist analgesic with a potency 5 times greater than that of morphine and minimal cardiovascular effects; INDICATIONS; For the management of intra- and postoperative pain. May be administered in conjunction with premedication; CONTRAINDICATIONS AND WARNINGS; Should not be used in patients with severe liver disease. No studies have been conducted in pregnant women
